I am a dad to a soon to be 4 year old boy who is my world. I have been in a relationship with my partner for almost a year. She is great with my son and I love her and so does he. She has been getting upset because my parents who I never get to see are coming to visit for Christmas and need to stay with me so she has to go home for the few days, but I want her to spend the holidays with us. So she can meet the family and we can move forward more in our relationship. She is upset saying she feels like an outsider because she has to leave and isn’t going to be here with my son and me while my parents are staying here. Am I doing something wrong?
