Should I be offended about receiving used gifts

A group of friends and I try to celebrate each others' birthdays. For reference, this is a group of 4 women. I am in my 40s, the other ladies are in their 70s and 80s. I am very close with one of them, Ms. Smith. The other 2, I enjoy seeing them, but no, we are not as close. But the 2 of them are close to Ms. Smith. So in a way, I guess our "friendship" in some ways revolves around Ms. Smith. Nonetheless, we all take Ms. Smith out for her birthday and buy her gifts. They do the same for Lady #2 and Lady #3, although I'm not always present.

We've been celebrating birthdays for probably 3 years or so now. Every year, they forget my birthday. Usually the end of the year comes and we exchange Christmas gifts or something, and then they realize they forgot my birthday. I never say anything about it at all.

This year, about a month late, they realized again they'd forgotten my birthday. So, they said something about it and gave me a bag full of gifts! I was so happy. Inside there was a hodge podge of gifts. At first, I thought they were all new, but at closer examination, I began to notice that some of them were used. Several of the gifts did not have a tag, one looked used and smelled like perfume, and some of the gifts kind of resemble the things you have at home, but never use, so you can easily regift them. For example, a household trinket. You could take it off the mantel or table and just dust it and gift it to someone as a gift.

I am truly thankful for the gifts, but there is a part of me that feels that someone of them just threw something together. I think Ms. Smiths' gifts were the items in the bag that were new, but I am doubtful of the other items. They seem regifted or used. Should I be offended?
