AITA genuinely curious
Post Body

Recently I broke up with my ex-gf (21) roughly 1 month or 2 ago, keep in mind we both work together, but in different departments; recently I (M20) started talking to this other girl in my department flirting honestly we started hiting it off and I told her I liked her a lot actually. And we started kind of going out, but it’s still a lot like fwb which is fun. Now throughout the store, a lot of people we are close to knew that me and my ex-gf were dating and some still think that , my ex gf is a very timid and shy girl and I told her that we don’t have to tell them because I know that would bring a lot of attention to her and I don’t think she’d like that. Now tell me how one of the department heads is talking to me a my now fwb/girl I really like and brings up my ex gf now granted she doesn’t know that we broke up cuz that’s a private matter between both of us; and that just completely kills my fwb/ girl I really likes whole mood that entire night. Now I’ve told her plenty of times that me and my ex-gf are done; but for some reason that just set her off and now she’s saying she can’t trust me I don’t get it, I’ve been truthful to her the whole time I told her we broke up we barely talk outside of work, we only say hi and how are you at work now. AITA for handling this situation this way, I’ve helped this girl through so much we were in an accident together I’ve helped her mentally physically like how did I hurt her feelings I don’t get it.
