So I (M28) had to call the police to remove my partner (F27) who I'll call 'Ruby' from my house yesterday. We were having a normal Saturday night, having drinks and playing games, listening to music you get the gist. However, as you do occasionally get into tiffs, in this case it was because we had plans the next day with my family and ruby had gotten a bit too drunk and had been sick so I helped her with her sick and her hair and stuff. After that I said lets grab you some food and head to bed (which I made and brought up), which, as is a regular occurrence, she refuses. Now I know I can't dictate what she does, however I will not allow her to be steaming Infront of my family.

I try to suggest alternate times, or maybe reschedule, or she heads home as she can't stay at my house without me due to family issues.

Instead ruby refuses outright so after relaying the options, nothing is solved, so I need to stay up with her because I could tell she was drunk, I reschedule fam time and give ruby some time to wear herself out

Sadly after hours nothing changes, during this time I'm getting unfriendly words as I relay our options, I'm unsure what to do, whilst she speaks loudly to their cousin. (UK thin walls) I suggest that if they won't sleep, then it might be better to head off.

This is where it gets bad, waterworks mixed with hurtful words, at which I say, if this is how you'll be you certainly need to go

I then get self yeet threats, which I don't accept as it's majorly manipulative, so I now have made my mind up that she needs to go

Clearly she refuses, so I change tact to try fix this and go to bed lovingly, alas still no bed.

I've glossed over a lot of hurtful things here, but the crux is, don't let someone treat you how you wouldn't treat someone else so I now have my mind made up, I reassure her I love her and I'll still love her tomorrow but she needs to go

At which Ruby says "if I go I might as well die". So I say, out, you gotta go (I should add this happens a lot and has always been a threat) not that it makes it any less terrifying

Ruby refuses to leave and I'm not going to force her, so I say I'll have to call the police, she thought I was bluffing, I was not.

Then she locks herself in my room whilst I talk to the police and collects her things, along with some items that I have attachment to, speaks to the police and leaves.

I know this seems like a rant, and in a sense it is, but I just keep thinking to myself, who the fuck calls the police on their own partner?

TLDR - Girlfriend gets obscenely drunk, verbally berates me, won't work with me, potentially embarasses me, threatens harm on themselves and won't leave house when asked so I have to call the police to have her removed.
