AITA for calling someone I'd been on one date with for ghosting?
For context, X and I went on a single date that seemed to go really well. At the end of the date, they said we should go out some other time, to which I agreed. I texted them asking if they'd like to go on a date the week after doing a certain activity we both like. I'm left on read. I follow that up with another invite to a closer event. I'm, again, left on read. Two weeks go by, and I decide to text them again, simply for closure. I ask them if they're still interested in a second sate and mention that it's okay if they don't. I end the text asking them not to be weird about it because we both frequent the same events and might run into each other at one point.
they reply saying that they would have replied when they chose. And I'm not entitled to a reply when I want one. And that it's rude for me to ask them 'not to make it weird'.
I really don't think I was being rude. Am I at fault here? or has common courtesy really died?
