So to start, I’d like to say that no I (19m) don’t get pissed and act out bc I’m asked to clean up, but I am upset at the fact that she (39f) is always asking me to clean up HER messes. I work 6 days a week with 10hr shifts and am barely making it and when I’m not at work, I’m in my room playing my game or with my girl watching sumn or we go on walks and whatnot. I do my dishes but if I cook but don’t eat what I cook for them, I don’t do those dishes. I keep my room clean(ish) and mind my business. I take out trash and take care of animals. I also do sweeps every once in a while, depends on if my sister does it or not, she’s (15f) also supposed to do the dishes but never does and tbh never does anything she’s supposed to do. I pay rent and partial utilities here and we both agreed that I’d keep up with my set chores and keep my room and my room only clean unless I notice the bathroom or kitchen is a lil dirty, then do those if I have time. Not clean up HER messes. She works 4-5 days a week working 7-10hr days and then proceeds to come back and drink and lay on the couch, eat, gts, wake up late and leave in a hurry and then wonders why she comes back to a mess in the living room…. So am I the asshole?
