Robot Soldiers are the pretty much the only component of the Laputan military that we get to see in the movie, other than the city's direct fire energy weapon.

We should note that the vast majority of these feats come from a Robot that was already damaged. Feats with undamaged Laputan Robots are marked with a [Undamaged] tag.

Energy Weapon

• [Power] Causes some moderate sized explosions.

• [Power] Causes the ground to shake and melts through a gun turret causing the ammo inside to cook off.

• [Power] Melts a metal blast door and causes it to blow outward.

• [Power/Nebulous] Either the Robot Soldier or ammo cooking off causes a large explosion.

• [Fire Rate/Power] Rapidly deals with many gun turrets.

• [Fine Control/Accuracy] Cuts through a wooden bridge.

• [Penetration/Power] Cuts through a few meters of stone wall then enlarges the opening.

  • Here is another angle on the wall's length.
  • Another one, with this one we can see the wall is not just made out of stone but there is a layer of metal on the inside.

• [Range] Destroys a far away bell tower.

  • Note: This was not done on purpose. This is not an accuracy feat.

Strength

• Collapses part of a stone tower down by climbing through it.

Durability

• [Blunt] Does not appear to be damaged after falling from Laputa (which normally flies around in the clouds) then lays around deactivated for an unknown period of time.

  • This unknown period of time could be as much as 700 years.
  • As you can see part of one of it's arms and part of one of it's legs have been separated from it's body.
  • Immediately reactivates when a Laputan crystal is activated.

• [Blunt] Breaks masonry by crashing into it.

• [Gunfire] Not affected by rifle and machine gun fire.

• [Heat] Not affected by molten metal dripping onto it.

• [Heat] Is fine with standing in molten metal, and also smashes through masonry while flying up the inside of a tower.

• [Cannon fire] Gets dented and temporally "knocked out" by a large caliber cannon.

  • This shows the size of the gun and shell.
  • Less than a minute after getting hit the Robot gets back up and keeps on fighting like normal.

• [Cannon fire/Limit] It's armor gets penetrated by another large caliber cannon hitting the spot that was already dented by the first shell. It's armor contains the shell's large explosion so well a girl standing only few meters away is unharmed.

  • Stays slightly functional for a brief period afterwards.
  • Remains after the smoke has cleared.

Speed

• [Undamaged/Running] Can move faster than human soldiers when running on all fours.

• [Undamaged/Flight] Crosses the length of the Goliath (flying battleship) in a few seconds.
