Why do Carlton get so many Friday night games? Six this year...

I understand that they are a big Victorian club, but surely the aim of the Friday night game is to attract as many viewers as possible so you think the top teams from the previous year would have the most?

Is it a case of Friday night footy being cheaper to produce from the MCG and with a lot of interstate teams in the top 8, they have to resort to giving these games to Carlton and Collingwood all the time?

Sorry fo the rant, i'm just sick of watching shit games every friday night when Friday night footy used to be awesome...
