Anyone remember back in around Round 10-12 when Essendon were 2nd while only beating the bottom 6/7 teams and like 1 team in the top 10. The statement of ‘they haven’t beaten anyone good’ would be constantly met with disregard in this subreddit as if we haven’t seen Essendon lose nearly every game where there’s a challenge over the last 20 years.
Like clockwork, the Essendon fall off came and that statement/question was so right to say/ask.
Just found it a bit interesting the things I was seeing on this sub a few months ago. I could probably post this again in August next year.
