What is appropriate to wear at a neutral game?

I, a Dockers supporter, have been invited to the WCE v Essendon game this Saturday by my uncle, and I am unsure of what to wear.
I'm obviously not going to be wearing anything yellow, but can I wear my Freo kit? Is it a faux pas to wear kit from non-playing teams?
Or do I run the risk of wearing black and red and getting shanked by the already fragile Eagles fans.
