Honestly AEW has forced WWE to elevate its product and its honesty pretty entertaining (the parts of the show that aren’t video package recaps) sure they have some dumb experimental shit like the 24/7 title, but even that is kinda funny, my nephews and kinda slow brother laugh and are entertained by it, along with the title actually being defended in the ring is nice, now I’m an AEW mark and I shouldn’t really need to go into WHY I love the product so much. AEW is so, for lack of a better term, raw. It’s a massive indie show promotion where it feels like the wrestlers haven’t hit the top and they’re still trying to prove themselves, it’s a young company with people still trying to prove themselves, Cody being one of the first, if not the first giant success story from AEW. I’m not saying AEW made Cody, Cody made a Cody, but AEW gave him the platform to prove that he is THE guy, I personally think he’ll be the guy to end the bloodline’s reign. Which brings me to the point that made me make this post, the Roman Vs. Kenny argument that was had on twitter… guys I think I speak for the majority or wrestling fans when I say, NOBODY CARRREESSSSSSSSS. Genuinely, nobody cares about the comparison of who’s the top guy in WWE and if he could keep up with AEW’s top guy (who many consider to be Omega) Roman has improved tremendously over the past years and I would honestly love to see him in AEW and have a feud with the Elite or even other legends. The mentality of us Vs. Them is whack, sure it sparks for good conversations and argument… but cmon, we’re all here for one thing, some good ass wrestlers doing their thing, and by God if you don’t think RKBro brings as much excitement to the ring as the bucks, you may want to rethink your stance
