Post Body

Hi all,

Been on gathering info for future project, would love your input or just to start the conversation

If I want to restore the body properly on my Corolla in the next couple years. I would say the condition is ok, great considering the rain here. There are some spots of rust showing in typical places.

Where would i take an ae86 to get the body looked at by a pro, find and remove the rust given its fairly minimal. I am worried about bits hiding that I canโ€™t see.

Is this something that any paint shop/body shop can do or should I find a specialty garage. ( Van Bc, if you have recommendations. )

Also, is there any recommendations for future proofing against rust during this process, like anything special should consider? Iโ€™m assuming this process will require a new paint job as well.

Hoping ( afford ) to do this once right and have the body back to โ€˜newโ€™.

Thanks!
