Has getting a job helped or hindered your teen (or you as a teen)?
My 15yo has fairly strong ADHD (medicated off & on). That makes school work hard for him, and he's usually short on time. (Who isn't?) But he wants a job, mainly to have some financial independence. Working has other benefits like work experience and social independence. I worry that a job would interfere a lot with school work and generally not having enough time for his interests. But I've also heard that being busy helps people with ADHD.
