Adhd diagnosis in uk

Post Body
One of my close friends believes they may have adhd and wants to get diagnosed… what’s frustrating however is how convoluted it seems to get diagnosed in the uk. They feel extremely overwhelmed by the process of diagnosis. I was just wondering if anyone else is from the uk and has been diagnosed via the NHS … if u could share ur experience it would be greatly appreciated. I remember being diagnosed as a child but don’t remember it seeming this stressful.
