Welcome to ADHD_Inattentive! I was shocked that there isn't already a subreddit for this issue, so I created one.
[/side rant: I find it annoyingly illogical to refer to our subtype as "ADHD Inattentive." Doesn't *everyone* with ADHD have issues with inattention? And the "H" does not apply to us, so why is it there? The two types should be "ADD" and "ADD-H." For those reasons, in my posts I will generally differentiate ADHD-Inattentive by referring to it simply as "ADD" and ADHD (with hyperactivity) as ADHD, but feel free to call them by whatever terms you want. /end rant]
Anyway . . . As someone who is not, and never has been, hyperactive, I can't relate to a lot of ADHD issues, often feeling almost as much out of place in ADHD groups as I do in neurotypical groups. So if you are like me, welcome! Also welcome are combination ADHD folks with inattentive-specific issues, people who want to understand ADHD-Inattentive better, and people who question whether ADHD-Inattentive is even a real thing. Everyone is welcome to post. I haven't come up with any community rules, but will add some if needed. Please stay at least somewhat on topic, don't be mean, and don't post spam. Feel free to introduce yourself, share experiences and ask questions.
I'll post my intro later. For now, I've got to go do something genuinely productive before I kick into hyperfocus mode and stay on Reddit all day. :-)
