Hi all

I've been trialing Amfexa for the last month or so and last Tuesday I went up to 20mg which I'm taking twice a day otherwise I am really struggling to sleep.

When I went up to 10mg, I suddenly had a real spike in concentration and motivation, I'd wake up thinking about what I wanted to get done at work and would look forward to it.

It only lasted a few days then disappeared but I hoped it would come back when I've gone up to 20mg, but I've had no luck.

I've just got my next prescription and it's £358 (I'm private with ADHD 360) and I really am hesitant to go ahead with it.

I feel like if it was going to benefit me I'd know by now?

I tried Elvanse for only 3 days and I want to try it again, I have 27 tablets left so I'm thinking of speaking to my dr to see if I can try that again rather than fork out £350 on medication that isn't working.

Just wondered anyone else who is on it - how long did it take for you to feel benefits? Am I flogging a dead horse? Thank you!

(Side note, I've also tried concerta but didn't get any benefits on the lower dose and the higher dose made me super hyperactive, I have inattentive type)
