Hello! I've recently been diagnosed with ADHD (Primarily Inattentive Type) and a lot of things about myself made a lot of sense ever since. I'm still trying to grasp how to be more aware of my ADHD and how to live with it.
One thing that made sense for me was my art block. I'm also an artist but recently I've been stuck in a severe rut. Hyperfixations are my main source of motivation and inspiration to be able to draw but recently, I haven't found my new hyperfixation... I have so many ideas for my D&D OC and BG3 playthrough but I'm stuck in this paralysis... I really want to do it but I just couldn't start.
It's honestly frustrating. I think it's been more severe in the recent years and I really want to get over this rut. So I was wondering if any of you ADHDer have experienced the same things and how do you work around it?
I want to open this discussion for my fellow artists out there too!
