is it worth it to get diagnosed?
Post Body

Hi. I've been experiencing symptoms of ADHD for as long as I can remember. My pediatricians also recommended my parents to get me checked for ADHD when I was young, but they didn't think of it as a too pressing issue to do so. I'm an adult now and I tried getting a diagnosis from a public hospital but the processes take so long and my second consultation is still pending. Is it worth it to get diagnosed through a private service? Do meds help at all? I just really want to gain some form of mental clarity and somehow manage my dysfunctionality better.

Thanks!
