I don't know if anybody else faces this, but when it comes to doing a full regimen at the gym I go to, I find that a lot of people intimidate me. Like I want to go to the weights, but if there are more than 10 people around, I will skip the routine entirely because of a lot of things: Imposter syndrome, lacking knowledge around weights, not wanting to be in someone's way, to name a few.
On the treadmill, I am (sort of) fine as long as I don't have anyone real close to my treadmill.
I've found that when the gym is open and available from midnight to 6 a.m. I am absolutely into the workout. I get it in and can continue on with my life. My problem with that is that it is only on weekdays, I need sleep because I am a dayshifter, and I get bored doing that after awhile.
I'm just wondering if anyone else experiences these things at the gym or if there are any hacks to counter these anxieties? I ask because my renewed focus and dealing with ADHD may play a factor in all of these things.
