Do we dream differently?

I had a shower thought this morning. What if because we are more prone to wondering thoughts our dreams are more chaotic than other people? Most of my dreams may start in one setting and with certain people but they quickly change setting and “cast”. It never occurred to me before but what if it’s different for other people.
