I’ve felt like such a failure for a good portion of my 20s. I went to university straight out of highschool. Highschool was super easy for me, boy did I ever get a reality check my first month of uni. After two years of barely scraping by with grades, I decided to drop out. It was my biggest regret of my 20s.
I’m 29 now and finally have the answers as to why I couldn’t focus on anything in my first attempt (diagnosed with ADHD combined). I just found out yesterday that I’ve been accepted back into university to finish the degree I started over 10 years ago.
It’s my first time posting here, but I’ve gotten a lot of validation from this page since I’ve been diagnosed. I wanted to put this here incase anyone else out there has regrets or feels bad for struggling with post secondary!
Anything is possible! It will all work out if you are determined to make it work!
