In the last two weeks I learned paper conservation, archival framing technique, and furniture restoration, all for my most recent projects of the week I had taking over my apartment.
The hyperfixations have caused me to learn entry level skills in so many different fields in order to complete my obsession of the week. I have 30 hobbies, and will cycle through them over years, so I keep all the expensive stuff I bought and only used once around so that itโll be ready for when the hyperfixation comes around again.
Unfortunately Iโve never had the focus or devotion to master any one skill though, and it makes doing a job I love so difficult.
