Anyone build a second brain?

I been reading Building a Second Brain by Tiago Forte and I have to say the idea of using software like Evernote to organize my digital life is fascinating. I have tried using a BuJo but I always have my phone on me so its more convenient to use it for storing my thoughts and ideas. I also use IFTTT to automate my capture of interesting topics that I later go through and choose which I find beneficial. Anyone ever read his book before or use this method?
