Worried about changing jobs and being able to keep up with focus issues.
Post Body

I’m interviewing for a new job this Friday. It’s better pay, actually has benefits, and is relevant to what I think I’d like to try working on next. The thing is… I almost hope I don’t get it.

My current WFH job doesn’t pay great and has no benefits, but my time throughout the day is flexible and I’m not chained to a desk at a 9-5. It’s very easy to get away with not focusing well and doing less at this current job and frankly I’m scared to let that go. It’s time I took a step forward from where I’ve been, but I don’t want to lose the freedom, and honestly insanely relaxed work environment I have currently.

I’m really worried I’ll get this new job and I want be able to keep up with a 9-5 and that the work load will be way too much for me. It does sound like it will be a good amount of new work and I’m so worried that I’m not going to be able to get my brain to be able to keep up. Has anyone else been in a similar situation? Any advice?
