So I (21F) am diagnosed with ADHD and suffer from all the typical ADHD things. I struggle to get the things I need to get done done (homework, making appointments, etc.), I lose things all the time, I force myself to stay somewhat tidy and organized but I really struggle with it. And so on. My girlfriend (23F) is not formally diagnosed with ADHD but I am almost positive she has it too! I honestly love that about her because the way we interact and communicate with each other works well and is so fun and comfortable. Things are getting serious between us but I occasionally worry if this could be an issue down the line if/when we live together in the future or have a life together. She struggles with all the same things I do… some things are harder for me and other things are harder for her but we still both struggle with them. Could we struggle to keep our place clean? Struggle with finances and/or remembering to pay bills and such? Lose important things? I mean I’m sure we would figure it out! But does anyone else here with ADHD have a partner who also has ADHD? Are there certain problems that arise because of this? Benefits? Systems you guys put in place?
