What to do when overstimulated in an outdoor setting?

I find myself getting overstimulated more than usual but I started to deal with it recently when I'm going out (doesn't matter who I am with). I think that noise mainly triggers me from the loud crowd and anything high pitched. However, I particularly do not like looking at the crowd and just want to be alone sometimes. How do I cope with this? Do you guys have a coping mechanism that I should try out? I'm going out again in a few fays and I want to deal with it in the best way possible.
