Diagnosed ADHD as a small child but now according to a new clinician I no longer meet the criteria due to DSM-V.

Post Body

As a child and through adolescence I was, and still am , super energetic, could not calm down, had anxiety (which is much worse now), racing thoughts (still here and much stronger), as well as many many other signs. Every doctor and therapist told me I was ADHD and I know my Dad is ADHD. However a new clinician Iā€™ve been to for testing 4 times in the past month says that I donā€™t have ADHD as I was diagnosed under DSM4 criteria and I no longer fit the ADHD criteria under the DSM-V. I am not bipolar and everything I was prescribed for adhd previously (adderall, Vyvance, Concerta, Focalin, and adderall Xr) made me feel calm and ā€œnormal.ā€ I donā€™t want to be one to challenge the DSM-V but I donā€™t see how in any way I could not have adhd and no one has ever said this to me until this lady. Any comments on this would peak my interest, let me know what you guys think.
