I realize I was writing a book so I’m going back and putting the info out front. My doctor prescribed me 5 mg of Ridellan with an upgrade to 10 mg over a certain amount of days. I’m now taking 10 mg, all I can report right now is zero change I don’t feel anything when I take it I wife says I don’t behave any differently the only difference I can see is When I take it I get a bit sleepy.
Doctor started me on meds three weeks ago. A little background a lot of my teachers and family members suggested idea and ADHD medication when I was a kid and parents refused to believe it. At one point my best friend in high school‘s mother who is also a teacher suggested it to my parents and mentioned it to me which was the first time I had heard anything about it. Anyway I was never diagnosed life went on. 20 months ago we had the birth of my first kid and it was pretty evident that things are not great with my memory and ability to get simple tasks done and it was putting a strain on my wife but I ignored it. I finally had a breaking down moment as the due date for our second approached I also have diabetes and my doctor is upset with my numbers and she asked what was going on. I told her that I struggle and I’ve never taken my second dose of medication that I should in the evening because I forget and I used to be better about eating better. I ended up in a long conversation about ADHD and she suggested I get Nuro tested so I agreed I’m in the process of getting tested. In the meantime she is willing to make the diagnosis i’ve never going through the first part of Naruto obviously not on medication.
