I'm just now learning about the dopamine issues with ADHD, and it's caused me to look at several aspects of my life, including the tendency to be drawn to high-adrenaline activities like skydiving and riding a motorcycle.
I've been riding for over 30 years and I've always had a passion for bikes. I'm extremely focused when riding, and can often tell when someone is about to change into my lane based on their front tires and lane position (people tend to move slightly to the edge of the lane as they look in their side mirror and over their shoulder).
I'm just wondering if the rush, focus, and an novelty of riding is a draw to those with ADHD. I rarely feel as good as when I'm on the bike and often feel euphoric.
Are there a lot of us out there on bikes?
