I've been jumping through the diagnosis hoops for 4 months. Just got off the phone where I made my final appointment to get medication-earliest date available is January 28th. Nearly 7 months and talking to 4 different people before they are finally going to prescribe a small dosage of something to see how I do with it. These appointments haven't even been in person. Why is it easier to break into the capitol than it is to get a diagnosis and medciated. Having the last two people I spoke with tell me without a doubt it's adhd that's gone unnoticed for 34 years honestly makes this waiting game even worse. They can't do anything about it, and now I have the knowledge and can't do anything about it. January 28th might as well be 2023 to me right now. This shit is exhausting and I'm just wasting away (half my life is already gone pre diagnosis) and the waiting games continue. I'll stop ranting because I could go on all day-really would appreciate some tips on how to stop being a bitch and just deal with the 3 month wait
