Hi all, recently i’ve been having a lot of trouble with my adderall prescription at CVS. I had to switch to them a few months ago because my insurance won’t let me go anywhere else now. I’m having to pay $40 every time i pick up my adderall since my insurance won’t cover it at all if it’s not a 90-day supply. it’s only supposed to be $7. This is weird to me since i never had this issue at walgreens. when i mentioned it to my psychiatrist, she told me it was illegal to give me all three months of the adderall at once according to federal laws. whats even weirder is that for two months in a row, i only paid $7, but last month and this month i suddenly had to pay the $40 for it. I’m really curious if anyone has had a similar issue with CVS or another pharmacy and if there’s a way around this? i know $40 isn’t a whole lot, but it’s frustrating when it’s only supposed to be $7. any help is appreciated!
