(Not really sure how to flair this) I am 23 and am on medication just for context.
I work in a kitchen and work with a couple great chefs. All of yesterday I was doing a lot of repetitive tasks (I hated them at first but it's nice to have something to do while you think about other stuff).
Yesterday my brain went into a manic frenzy of throwing ideas for haute-cuisine dishes. In 45 minutes I had mentally built a dish that looked like an eggs Benedict, but was actually a dessert that tasted like a pinacolada.
After that I thought up a deconstructed lemon meringue pie.
And an incredible reformation of a thanks giving dinner.
As well as some other stuff I wasn't feeling and ditched half way through.
I guess this is just something saying, yes, I do understand adhd can be an absolute burden. Can paralyze you into doing nothing. But we all have the potential to come up with some crazy left field out of the box ideas. We can all be great thinkers.
