Today was the 4th day on 40mg of Vyvanse. (Back in high-school I used to be on 70mg but stopped taking it when i was no longer under parents insurance).

Over the last month I was trying out going back on ADHD meds. Started at 20 and moved up to 40mg. I work as a chef, multitasking and focus are incredibly important. I have been able to be quite successful without medication, and today... today I was quiet, I was in the zone. I was actually working around the headchef (who only has 33 years of kitchen experience, I'm 23 years old).

Because I wasn't talking so much he actually asked if I was okay. And I told him that I was just really focused. His reaction to me clearing my list while doing orders, without flaw or distraction was his jaw almost dropping. I kicked ass today and I'm proud. (Also I got a raise yesterday, but that's a separate thing)
