So my brother and I both have ADHD that manifests in very different ways. For one, he has never ever had an organized room. There is constantly a 6-inch pile of trash and clothes blanketing his entire floor. Once cleaned, it goes back to the same thing after only a week. I have never seen him fold or hang a single piece of clothing.
So here's my question - does anyone have any tips for keeping a room organized when you can't fold or hang clothes? He just can't right now. There are a few complicating mental health diagnoses going on with him too that making this really hard. I have just bought a house and he's moving in with me. I would like to find a solution that keeps it so someone can walk into his room: not looking for anything near perfection. I'm hoping that maybe I can help him start some good habits in a fresh room. This is not how my ADHD manifests so I'm at a loss.
Any advice greatly appreciated!
