Hi all,
I'm in a great relationship right now, but there has been a major issue this week having to do with my lack of attention to detail in cleaning. Compared to me my SO has fantastic attention to detail.
When it is my turn to cook, most of the time, I clean up when I'm done.. But, I miss details. I always have. It might be some splatter on a backsplash. It might be some grease on the counter. It is always some little details. I just don't see it. A similar example: I don't see streaks on mirrors or glass. Even if I do, it's clean enough.
But, my SO's attention to detail is far better than mine. My SO takes exception to these missed details. It becomes a point of conflict. I want to meet halfway on this and make a genuine effort to improve.
Which leads me to my question. Does anyone have any kind of book, or video, or tips that I can use to learn to be a more consistent cleaner? I want to do better. I just don't know where to begin.
