A Ten Year Friendship Hanging in the Balance

Post Body

So recently some stuff has come up between a good friend and I and our friendship feels like it might come to an end. Now, I'm working on repairing that, but something she brought up is that I talk about myself a lot and don't seem to care about things that are important to her. But I do care about her and her life! Without her I don't think I'd be where I am now.

So my question is, how do I catch when I'm talking too much about myself and how do I remind myself to show my friends and I family that I care? I'm already trying to recognize it more, and when I stop talking I try to remember to ask my friends questions about themselves, but if you have any extra advice that would be greatly appreciated ❤️
