Creative slump and ADHD

Hey everyone!

Does anyone have advice on being creative. I finished a 4 year degree in design and immediately after graduation the pandemic struck. I’ve been working a small remote design job ever and now I want to find something better, but my portfolio is seriously lacking.

In school we usually got briefs that would outline the assignment for us. As much as I liked the structure of them I always felt constrained to make it how the professors wanted it. Now that I’m without that structure I’m struggling to design at all.

I have vague ideas for concepts but rarely have the time or mental energy to work on them because of the 40hr work week I’m currently doing. On the weekends I try to work but can’t seem to string the ideas together enough to even make anything at all.

Any advice? Also thanks in advance! :)
