What other disorders or diagnoses or medicines are doctors giving patients that have not improved from taking ADHD meds?
I’ve struggled with chronic fatigue, a zero focus, motivation, desire, etc for about 3 or 4 years. I’m on a new antidepressant that’s been working. I’ve been put on several ADHD stimulant meds and all of them either didn’t work at all or only worked for a few months before I started to feel immune to it; meaning I can’t till fall yawn multiple times and fell asleep an hour after taking it. Yes I’ve taken days off and breaks and I drink water and exercise etc.
I’ve already had blood work confirming no vitamin deficiencies or hormone Imbalances (the hormones that insurance actually pay for).
Are there any tests that will show how my DNA works, how my body metabolizes meds, or what part of my body is causing me to be fatigued all the time and to feel immune to caffeine, stimulants, antidepressants?
What has been the solution for patients who have tried small and large dosages, changed their diet, etc and still deal with chronic fatigue not improving ???
