I finally was able to go to my appointment today and I am officially diagnosed ADHD. The physician assistant who helped me said that you are mild he said that’s probably why you got missed. We went over and did a very thorough check to make sure I wasn’t bipolar or anything else and that this was correct. It’s just a huge relief to know I’m not crazy I’m not damaged and I’m gonna be OK. I prescribed Concerta but generic to start with I understand it’s a version of Ritalin. We’re going to start there and see how it works and if this class doesn’t work he said he can try other such as the Adderall classes.
I’ve been having all these problems and on and off throughout the years I thought maybe, but today I know I’m not crazy and that I do have this I knew it felt right and explained everything. It’s too late in the day to try the medication I’m going to tomorrow and I cannot wait to update this group about how it goes. I’m very thankful that I found this resources and I can’t wait to start working on my life.
