Strattera and New Diagnosis
Post Body

Hi all!

I just got diagnosed with ADHD after spending six years in college miserable and thinking I was crazy. Anyway, I was prescribed Strattera (25 mg for a week, 50 mg for the second week, final dose of 80 mg starting the third week). This is day one for me and I’m a little bit worried because about two or three hours after taking the original dose I began to notice my heartbeat elevated, I was having trouble breathing and I got super physically irritable (as in... needed to strip because I couldn’t stand to have clothes touching my skin). I’m also really shaky.

This could just be anxiety, I don’t usually have this severe of a reaction to my general anxiety but I don’t know what else it could be. Does anyone here maybe have any insights???

I would so much appreciate it!!
