Can we start a university/school tips thread!
Post Body

Share your study, socializing, staying on task, etc... tips!

I'm going into second year and I did okay not the best but this is what I've found out!

I study better with people!

I went through accessibility services and got accommodations. • Extended test time • taking test in a different room • listening to music • record lectures • extended time on work ie essays • A learning strategist (they read my work, helped me sort ideas and helped me start my work)

My first semester I had an hour or two in between classes and I was able to recharge my attention.

I tried to study with alarms to take breaks and only study for a short period.

I talked to professors after the first day to know what I can do in their class. Sadly I never made appointments during office hours.

I tried to make appointments before I needed to make them.

The biggest thing I did was make a friend through a friend. That friend is now my best friend. They understand my hypersensitivity and my impulsive issues and they help me to push myself to grow and change.

If I think of more I'll try to add them but, please try to add any tips you have!!!
