...I worry that I haven't included all of the things I need to do and that I'll forget about them. And then I lose trust in the system.
What's the point of notes that tell me what to do if they don't tell me everything?
I treat notes as directions to follow, because my brain won't remember everything or be able to decide what to focus on, instead of as reminders.
I think it comes down to the fact that I can't trust myself to remember, prioritise and decide on what to do... and that leads to natural feelings of stress and being overwhelmed.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?
