Something I do to keep myself from going off on tangents while doing...
Post Body

How often do you find yourself studying, then suddenly realize you might have a potential cure for cancer? Or maybe you have a sudden urge do some research on the reason why the Polynesians stopped voyaging for 2,500 years before beginning to explore new islands again? Or maybe you're actually doing work, and have to look something up on Wikipedia, but the a link to a new Wikipedia page is tempting you...

I've started keeping little notebook of "Do Later" lists, for those all those amazing ideas that I have but I know would lead me into a spiral of unproductive activity. When I do homework, I keep this list right next to me. That way when I have an idea, I'm not struggling to keep it inside. I feel like I've acted upon it by taking note of it, then I forget it and usually never look at the list again (kind of like how I always "save" links/threads on Reddit, but never actually go back to look at them), but it helps a lot!

Just wanted to share this tip, hope it can help some other folks!
