Sugar and ADHD, can it affect my medication?
Post Body

Recently I've got my hands on way too much sugar. Be it from Halloween or home baked goods from my mom when I went home from college.

Anyway, I've always had a problem with of controlling how much I eat of it. So this past summer I really cut it out of my diet. I lost weight and it was pretty good. Now I've really been good about taking my medication and getting used to it since I stopped for a few years because I hated the side effects.

That brings us to now. I feel like my medication (30 mg generic amphetamines) hasn't been acting as usual. I feel more like my unmedicated brain. I'm wondering if this could be due to my diet or any other reason.

I'd love some advice and sorry if I didn't make sense. I'm sure you all understand.
