I've had ADHD for as long as I can remember. When I was in high school I took Ritalin and then got to college and stopped until jan of this year and it's been great.
I have been through about 8 jobs in 10 years. Been fired from about 4. So half. I'm a web designer, who went through a spell of trying to do "productivity" tips, Omnifocus, gtd, etc. I could tell you all about all that crap.
Now, I run a consulting company while I'm lookin for ui and ux work. Full time or part time. I've found reddit after I left digg, and I've found developers to work with, help with addiction, and how to build a litecoin mining machine.
For years, in between taking Ritalin I drank coffee like crazy, have been obsessed with specific topics like games, golf, poker, etc. and sometimes feel like I'm addicted to the internet, among other things.
I'm learning rails in my spare time, and I'm learning about investing as well. My wife and I are about to have our second kid and there's times when it's tough because of my lack if focus or constantly "having my nose in my phone".
