So I was on adderall for my entire childhood to early adulthood and then took a break but now I’m back at it. They worked me up to 30 mg and I’ve noticed one issue.

I was (because I have kids) the type where I went against doctors orders was just took one of my prescription pills when I had stuff to do that day. Now I’m doing my best to take one daily and have been successfully every day the same time for 2 weeks.

At first I noticed that I’d (I call it this sorry if you don’t like it) cr@ck out whenever I took it and really went ham on my daily tasks. Now after 2 weeks I noticed it’s not really doing anything intense anymore. Do I need to talk to my doctor about a higher dosage? I don’t drink caffeine and I eat a good amount of protein (I heard those two contribute to adderall effectiveness)

I have tried many ADHD meds and only Adderall has worked for me so now I’m just not sure if it’s now properly working or just not good enough. So I came to Reddit since I can’t see my doctor for a month.

Edit: my script is amphetamine salts 30mg ER CAP
