Hi all,
I (24m) recently got diagnosed with inattentive adhd, no real hyperactive symptoms except for a small amount of restlessness. I’ve recently become more aware that when I play video games or anything really immersive such as TikTok that my inattentive symptoms get significantly worse for a time period maybe a day or two and I start to feel extremely uncomfortable when I’m not playing them almost like I’m trapped in my head or disconnected from myself.
After that time period however I feel back to my normal self and that trapped feeling completely goes away. I was just wondering if anyone else has had any similar experiences and what they think/know it is? My thinking is that it could be to do with overstimulation.
Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated as I’m quite new to the adhd scene. Also any other tips for inattentive adhd would be great.
Please ask away if you have any questions about what I’ve written 🙏 Thank you for reading this far and have a wonderful day 😊
