Awkward when talking to people

Post Body

Hi, my mum and my brother has noticed that I talked awkwardly or shy around strangers, like a cashier or strangers in general. I think I talk normally but i know I do say things weird. Like I was at eh pharmacy for my birth control. I said," hi I'm here for my blood pressure, oh sorry my birth control." My mum caught me stuttering and us 3 were laughing. Since my mum mentioned that I sound anxious and awkward talking to people to the limit isn't makes her awkward and cringed, I feel insecure talking now.

I'm socially awkward, and I cant seem to get past that. My mum has advised that I speak to more people, dunno if this counts but I work in health care I talk to many people. I already have a list of insecurities and I don't need another.
