Post Body

Hello I have been taking brand name Adderall (not generic) for years for my ADHD. Extended release in the morning and instant release in the afternoon. I used to be on generics a long time ago and had to be switched to brand because they kept switching generics on me and some of the generics gave me really bad side effects.

Now over the past at least year maybe even 2 I am not sure if I can pinpoint exactly how long but I do not feel like the medication is working almost at all and I don't think it has anything to do with tolerance or anything like that because that was not a problem in the past.

With the extended release, I feel like I kind of took Adderall but it lasts for a very limited amount of time like less than 2 hours and does not feel like when I used to take it years ago.

With the instant release It is much worse, because I honestly do not feel like I even took anything at all after taking it. I feel like it just makes me very tired to the point of almost being able to just fall asleep. And often times I actually feel like the inattentiveness of my ADHD is even worse somehow.

I am wondering Are other people on the name brand Adderall feeling the same side effects by any chance. I tried to look up some posts but they were from a while ago. Most of the posts I see are about generics, but I am just confused why this is happening with name brand. Also I found a couple pills of old name brand medication from years ago that I had and it worked much better than what I have now. It is almost night and day difference.
