How do you guys help showers not be overstimulating?

Post Body

I figured out that the reason I don't want to take a shower is because showers are overstimulating. There's the cold to heat from stepping in, then the inconsistent heat and pressure during the shower because you're moving around and needing to step out of the water to put soap on your body and then going back under to rinse off and your whole body can't fit under the stream to make it consistent. And there's the feeling of the lather on your body. Then there's the shock of heat to cold when you step out.

Edit: I do not have a tub
